Master Cleanse Detox Diet

It doesn’t take a genius to know that not all diets work and most of them leave you feeling weak and hungry after the first day. With many diets you need to drink capsules or expensive supplements which cost much more than the promise of weight loss they supposedly guarantee. You can stop wasting your money and try something completely different that actually works; like the Master Cleanse detox diet.

By going on a detox diet, you give your body the chance to rid itself of unwanted and unhealthy toxins. These toxins inhibit the body’s ability to work optimally and nutrients and minerals to be completely absorbed. With a detox, you give your body back it ability to function properly and optimally.

The Master Cleanse Detox Diet is one diet you might want to try. It is a fluid diet and it’s very simple to follow, easy to prepare and the rewards are excellent. There are no pills to swallow, the carbohydrate intake is low and you are insured of constant energy to continue the diet until you feel you body is renewed and revitalized.

Prepare yourself a mixture of the following:
2 tbsp of lemon juice
Pinch of cayenne pepper
2 tbsp of maple syrup
Water to mix.
(Ready made mixtures can also be store bought to save you time and effort).

Drink this mixture throughout the day; any time and as much as you want. Lemon juice dissolves the waste that might have build up in your colon. Cayenne pepper clears away mucus in the body and the maple syrup supplies you with much needed energy. You can add herbal tea to this detox to drink in between.  This will help with the removal of the toxins from your body through your urinary tract.

To improve and enhance the detox effect, you can start by decreasing your food intake around a week before your start your detox. Eat less meat and carbohydrates and drink less coffee. This will prepare your body for the detox. The ingredients in the lemon detox will be sufficient to supply you with nutrients and energy from the maple syrup.

As your body starts with the eliminations of toxins, you might experience a couple of side effect. This is all normal and part of the cleansing process.  Side effect will include irritability, cramps, dizziness, nausea and diarrhoea and usually only lasts three to four days until your body adjusts and relaxes.

With the master cleanse you won’t only eliminate toxins from your body, but you should also lose some weight due to the fact that you are not consuming many carbohydrates. Your body is burning fat faster than it is able to convert the sugar and store it. Add to that the fact that your body is clean on the inside and working much better, thus burning fat more efficiently.

The Master Cleanse works very well to kick start any diet or healthy lifestyle you consider. After your cleanse of three to ten days, continue eating normally, but healthy.     I have used the Master cleanse detox diet to cleanse my body for the last 3 years and it’s very effective. I have seen news about celebrities using it to lose weight but that shouldn’t be the main goal. The main goal should be about cleansing the body and losing weight is just the side benefits. You will gain back some of the weight lost during the diet but if you monitor what you eat and maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle, you will not gain back all that weight you lost.
