How To Detox Your Body
Most people think that detox is for drug abusers or alcoholic who need to cleanse their bodies from the effects the drugs and alcohol had on them. This is not the whole truth. Detox is for everybody and is a very necessary part of healthy living.
We are living in a world where our foods need to be cooked quickly, fresh vegetables need to last longer on the shelves and everything preserved in a bottle needs to last as long as possible. All we want to do is open a can, warm a meal in the microwave or stop at the nearest take out and grab something to eat or drink. Our lifestyles don’t allow time for home cooking, for fresh garden vegetables or anything that takes longer than 20 minutes to prepare. Add to that the pollution from our cars, factories and aerosols and the preservatives in our food becomes the last thing you worry about. There is not much you can do about the pollution in the air, but there is much you can do about your eating habits and taking care of your body. (more…)
